The first Italian experience of a real estate Fund specialised in the marina sector and related residential/commercial developments, started in March 2006 by the iniziative of Aedes BPM Real Estate SGR.

The first investment of the Fund has been an initiave in the southern Tuscany cost, at aquite advanced realisation status, consisting in an harbour for some 1000 boat parking places, plus a shipyard and an articulated residential/commercial complex for over 10.000 qm of Slp. The initiave is very relevant in the Western Mediterranean basin, also in consideration of the presence in the same area of one major pleasure crafts producer worldwide.

Praxi Real Estate has developed its assignment as the Independent expert for Virgilio Fund (under the current law the assignment will be carried out also for the next three years), facing specific and complex appraisals issues, due to the presence of the turistic harbour, of coastal areas owned by the State, of SPVs and of a development project defined as a general framework, but still subject to evolutions and improvements.
